Ink stamp or something else?

I posted this the other day, but at the requests of many members they wanted more pictures to help date this item. The stamp says “Joseph Inden” and at the bottom “Anvers”. Anvers is French for a town located in Belgium. Here are the pics:

How old do you think it is?

Maybe for something softer - soap or butter

It looks like a brand to me. Thick enough to hold some heat. Maybe for barrels or such.
