Interesting assortment from the campgrounds - need help ID'ing silver coin
I spent another 4+ hours hitting my favorite campground on Tuesday, and came up with a very interesting assortment of finds.
I'll stay light on the words this time, and tell the story with pictures...
This is a Horstmann Philidelphia button (1893 - 1935) found not too far from where I found the US Cavalry bridle rosette a few months ago. Indian Wars item?
Very cool AAA School Saftey Patrol badge...
Buckles...
Whistle and key were found together in same hole...
Ornate old drawer handle...
Scout relics...
Junk ring...
Total haul, minus a TON of junk... - I think the giant item is a foot pedal for a piano...
Clad (two wheat cents were found)...
And now here is the silver coin that I can't identify, mainly because it is so worn that I can only make out one letter on the coin - which I believe is a "C". Their may also be an "E" and "I" to the left of the "C". The coin is the same diameter as a dime, but does not have a reeded edge, and is much thinner than a dime. I'm including lots of pictures in hopes that someone will see something that I am not seeing...
The other side has nothing at all that I can see...
Any guesses
Thanks for looking, and Happy Hunting!!!
