This is an American Dipper. They Live at high elevations and feed by walking on the bottom of rushing mountain streams. I thought the first picture was comical. 
Hard to photograph, because when they are out of the water, they never stay still. Constantly bobbing up and down.

I took the last picture about a year ago. Only managed to get one of him yesterday.
