Cool find. I am hoping to find out what they say about it too. Congrats.

You should post this on the "What Is It?" forum...nice find!

Thanks, that was interesting.
Mine appears to be a two month (one on each side), calendar token.
Weird, but maybe this covers more time, but I just don't know how to deciper it.
Well, at least I have found out it is a calendar medal.

Nice calendar token, coinshooter. Never seen anything like it.
Nick

Judging by what ebay sells these old ones for, this could be a $100-$250 find (not that I would sell it), but it is always nice to know when something you found has some value. That surprised me. Hope to find out who the two old cronies on the medal are eventually. I suspect they may be two of the medal inventors. At one point these were used in England and then flipped to the US as a novelty piece. My guess is this is about 100 yrs old based on where it was found.

That token is so awesome! I love it! Great find...

I was thinking presidential and vice-presidential candidates.

I looked through all presidents and VP's.
None match these two.
I suspect it may be the folks listed on the website posted above that are the fathers of calendar medals.
