interesting medal

Dug some sort o ribbon medal for sporting event today. Also got a big lead leaf.Wich makes no sense to me.Hope I never find the tree. The wheat cents are from 40's and 50's.Only other thing of interest was the book marker.

I'm wondering if your "medal" might be a watch fob - just a wild guess - no idea what the leaf bit is all about .

That metal leaf looks like something my grandma had in her house when I was a kid...it was a whole plant made out of metal and I never understood what someone would want one for. I couldn't tell you if hers was made of lead or not, I just remember it being metal and ugly.
