That's a pretty cool design and very compact for travelling. A few questions come to mind that aren't mentioned in the video. Any coil options and do they change out easily or are they hardwired? How well balanced is it? I assume it's all metal and no discrimination?
 

That's just awesome! I'm not crazy about the lopsided coil design though, but like the compact design.
 

Sorry.......forgot to mention that it's an MPF technology PI unit intended for gold hunters.

There was a hands on demo of one at the last Minalabbing day in WA.
 

Someone over here have posted some nice pictures of gold finds after using an SDC2300 in the field.......lucky for us it's relatively safe to do so as we do not have any long haired grumpy bears to chase us off.........a male camel now and then, yes ......... but no bears............ivanll

Kind of what I was thinking about the battery situation. Also, I think the same guy that designed the dainty CTX battery seal was in charge of this one also.
 

Wonder why it uses C batteries and not double As?
