Iowa couple find rare armadillo roadkill.. But Don't eat it ??

WEVER, Iowa (AP) -- Rural southeastern Iowa resident Greg and Linda Wilbert say they've found a rare piece of roadkill for the state - an armadillo. The pair from Wever near Burlington were driving on U.S. 61 when they saw the animal. Linda Wilbert said it caused her to say "Oh my God, is that an armadillo?" The Wilberts said they put the animal in their pickup truck and showed it to surprised friends and family.

I remember the first one I ever saw. It made front page on the newspaper back in the 70's.

Wow, that's only 45 miles from me. Last year a farmer found a black bear in his corn field. Another guy about 10 miles from me saw a mountain lion. Heck I wont need to take the kids on vacation to see all the different animals. They are coming to us.
