Just for a composition test do a magnet and ring test.
 

Perhaps one variant of the token. This one is rather worn and in pretty rough shape I am assuming from being outside for who knows how long. It is not ferrous metal but could be German silver? I read that the tokens were made out of both.
 

I swear I see the letter "S" on the reverse which could be the sign "&" heavily worn down.
That is a fantastic token in any condition, and you can always rely on Mackaydon to supply needed info.
