Iron Point Mystery, possible Hudsons bay co. connection

Found this one about 14 inches down near the River bank, Any Idea's any one ? Its large and was found in an area where the HBC.co was active,
Hand forged and possibly used to take down Bison or used for some thing else. It was found on my first outing of the year . some thing to ponder about over a cup of
