is it petrified?

found this piece today. thought immediately it was petrified wood, and maintained that thought even after I got it home and cleaned up.
asking for opinions though. I don't want to claim it's something when it's not!

Fossilized coral. I find a lot of it in my part of Ga too. Sometimes in big chunks with the coral head still showing.

very cool! I had no idea! I have tons of fossils; shells, a leaf or two. never found one till today.

what part of georgia do you hunt? (aka live)
 

I'm just North of Tallahassee Florida, just inside the Ga. state line.
