I would just like to know if marking coins is illegal i think i may be getting my coins back, why i think this is i mostly do nickels ($200 at a time) and when i started this hobby about 6 months ago i would find say 3 or 5 war nickels per box! :blob7: Now it seems iam lucky to get 1 for both boxes, i get Dunbar coins and dump at TD bank where they ship to Brinks. I just think i may sifting into my dumps. :dontknow:

It's been discussed here many times. No, it's not illegal as long as you're not changing the coin to defraud people.

What about companies that make those gold plated kennedies, or obama kennedies? They changed the coins to gold, or kennedy's face to Barack's face, and sell them for 20 or more times face value!!! :tard:
