After enduring a streak of 1 40%'er in 15 boxes, then an average of 1 40%'er every 2 boxes, this 1st box of the day was a pleasant surprise:

1x64, 1x65, 1x66, 2x67, 3x68, 1x69. Also, a 1987 S proof.

Interesting enough to include in the photo, but probably gonna release it back into the wild, due to its 0% silver content.

2nd box: Ben, 1950.

3rd box: Shiny 64. 4th box: 1x68, 1x69.

Nice day. Not a "Maverick super day", but I'll take it...! Keep hunting....! R U S H

nice finds the ben is awsome

I can't wait to find my first Ben,nice job.

Nice way to break a streak! Been a while since I have seen a 90% in my area.

Rush...since your '87 is a low mint year...and considering the fact that it's a proof...you could probably get a few bucks for her on the bay. Otherwise, that's a nice way to turn your skunk streak around!

Thanks for the comments all... not the greatest finds, but encouraging. The Ben and the '64's were a nice surprise...! Brush64, thanks for the input. However, gem quality super nice ones were under 4 bucks, and a better quality one was only $1.95 with no bids, ending soon. So, it was a nice find, but it was released back into the wild. To make sure a future coin enthusiast wouldn't miss it, I spray painted it fluorescent orange on the obverse, neon green on the reverse, and then painted the edges silver of course.

Oh wait, I don't mark coins. Nevermind.

Nice finds this week, man! I found a proof ender the other week and got super excited... Then I opened up the roll to find out it was not a silver proof. I also let mine go, as I didn't want anything that isn't silver. Hoping you have a good week next week!

Nice hit! You should have saved the proof, though. Even if you don't plan to sell it, it makes a nice gift for a teller, or to carry around with you to show when tellers ask why you go through halves...

Good points.... maybe the next one then....!

Save the proofs, when you have a bunch of them you can sell them in a lot.
