Is there a way to bring back a date on a Buffalo Nickel

Most of the Buff's I have dug up have no visible date. Is a way to try to bring the date back or will they stay that way? Thanks

yeah, theres a product cant remeber the name though. I thought I read that the date disapears after a while.

The product is called Nic-A-Date. It is an acid that will bring back the date on nickels. Don't leave it on too long though. I did on a couple of old shield nickels and it ate right through the date area

I don't see it around as much as in prior years but if you have a local coin shop they should have it or can get it for you.
