IMG_0309.webpIMG_0308.webpThat would be a dropped enfield to the left of the mushroom looking "bullet". Found them both today . About the same diameter(.59-.60). The mushroom weighs 1.17 oz. would this be a carved bullet?IMG_0307.webp
 

Looks to me it appears to have rifling marks and the nose distortion is from the ramrod.

I have been thinking about this. The mushrooming of the bullet must have occurred after it left the barrel. Does that mean it impacted the ramrod or other bullet as the the ramrod or other bullet impacted?

often in the haste of battle - a second bullet was put into place and rammed home --due to panic by the shooter ...some guns were found with several bullets crammed down the barrel --by men who had forgot to put a primer cap on --they thought they had fired their gun and just reloaded powder and bullet time after time ...
