I have been getting back into the hunt with this nice weather and one of my MUST FINDS is a fired Rev War musket ball from the town I grew up in NJ. I have found a lot of dropped balls before and have found some real amazing buttons, but the Battle that happened in this town was quite brutal, but small. Also, it's getting very hard to find undeveloped areas in NJ.
I found this overgrown and very hard to get to spot, after many, many holes of letdown, I found this little patch and 1 musket ball, then another, buttons and then I found these there all lead for sure. The flat one in the pictures has little ribs on it and it looks like it was fired, but I wanted to get Your guys opinion before I can finally say I found a fired shot.
I would love to hear yes it is, but I am well prepared for the no it's not.

The piece with the hole in it looks like a lead cap for a roofing nail used on tin roofs
