all he said was "good" so he doesnt sound like a coin guy.

When a coin guy referees to a coin as "good" that means the coin is not in good condition. I would pass on that offer.

'Good' should represent "4" on a scale of 1 to 70.
In my experence it means a coin that is recognizable- barely; just a space filler if that is your objective.
