It shows mineralization of copper of which there are commonly 3 kinds of copper ores usually showing such greens. Often other minerals accompany copper.

Crush it, roast it and pan it. I doubt you will find free gold in that material. Though my knowledge is limited to a certain area. You have to have a source of carbon or a basic (PH) to get free milling gold. In my area we are short on both in general. Though I did just find a very interesting USGS report ;). But for the most part in my experience sulfides need roasting to show values. It's worth doing some book learning if you are really interested.
