Is this a military tag ?

Trap tags only have one hole for the most part and have to have the name and address of the trapper. Could it be a ID bracelet of some kind?

I don't think it was a bracelet. It's awful big for that and doesn't have a curve to it as if it fit a wrist. The series of numbers has me wondering what they would be also. It's 2 1/2 inches long by 3/4" however, in the field where I found it just had a huge coon dog convention.

Could have been on a dog's collar but no way to explain the numbers on it.

Well I guess until I get more ideas on this then I'm stumped...it was only about 2" deep.
