I found this metal detecting today and I have no idea what it is!

If it’s lead it may be a musketball. Maybe a 54 caliber ball. Thanks for posting.

Could be buck shot ...or small pistol ball...looks like it's been in the ground a while

Too small to be a musketball. Rifle or pistol, no way to say which as they both fired any range of ball sizes.
