Is this a regular mini shot bottle?

My dad, a friend and I were fishing on a community beach and somehow this bottle got caught on my friends hook.

Was wondering if anyone could tell me what kind of glass bottle this is? It's about 4-5 inches high. On both sides is "1/10 pint" and the bottom says 18 63 with an circled A in the center and an S above that.

Looks like a modern bottle. Does it have a twist off top? Did it at least put up a good fight??

It didn't come with a twist top.
It's great for watering plants though.
