These aint real then ? Boy am i gona be ticked off with my "buddy"

The net sinker looks good, the point, looks like it is NOT a point. Just a pointy rock. At best is is a genuine flake.

Thank you for your reply , i dont want to ship just rocks to my bro in Scotland..what i was told was this..Indians were basically pretty absent minded and perhaps less than attentive..they would make these arrowheads while fishing..a fish comes along and get he attention and the half finished arrowhead gets left behind..no longer interested in arrowhead makin he's offski with getting those fish.
I was hoping somebody would identify the stone its made of..its quite red , i believe it is a half finished point.

It's a broken piece of an artifact. Yes, the others are netsinkers.

Thanks guys..i also was given a scraper stone knife..looks like a rock but when you hold it..yeah..it is a tool..one end is so smooth like its been used quite a bit..grip wise ...the other end is sharp like a blade

Ill post pics of it later..thank you everybody ..im satisfied the articles are genuine and will ship them to my wee brother in Scotland who adores all things Indian.

...very absentminded and less than attentive... They never told me that story. I guess it slipped their minds. The stone looks like jasper, but I'm not familiar with the geology of your area. Points and tools were very valuable items in the old days. Not everyone possessed the level of skill needed to create the finer versions of these. Anybody could in a tight spot whip out something that would serve the purpose at the moment. It's probably a piece of shatter from tool production. If you can, get out in the field on your own and let us know what you come up with.
