is this petrified wood?

You need to take a better pics , But it looks like wood.
Take it to a rock shop , they can tell if it is petrified wood. WTG

how would I find a rock shop? I am in the middle of PA, not exactly a big rockhound area.

PA, The top one looks like a hematite total replacment of wood, it looks like there might be some crystal action going on on the surface. So yeah it classiefied as p-wood. can you do a better picture of the bottom stone? Can you see growth rings?
