Went back to my great great great uncle open face copper mine because I was told u could find gold veins in them some times I stuck my camera phone in a hole and snapped a few pics this is wut I found does anyone think I should smash the big rock in front of the hole and dig further or is it camera tricks I'm new just started this spring went up there on a hunch

That is interesting. Any way you can get a sample without injury? It looks pretty confined. If you could get a small sample and test it that would be good. Then, if positive for gold,,,,, Smash the heck outa that rock lol. Good luck to ya and report what ya find.

ya I can there is a big sheet of rock that fell over the hole I just have to bust it out of my way it only about two or three feet in
