It ain't pretty...but its my silver...

Temps now in the 30 -40 degree area when I am hunting so long hunts are coming to an end soon, well maybe... Hit a nasty looking 59 Rosie today.... Been hitting the areas hard before the winter freeze....just not been posting....lots of clad...been skipping about 70% of penny signals but it has been paying off in higher clad amounts... Actually a lot easier not to post each hunt...Today over $7 in clad and this ugly 59 Rosie... :P

Gregg, the DFX will go deep if you understand its "workings." Therefore, get to know what the machine is telling you and then the "better" finds will show themselves to the Greggster.

P.S. What do you mean by "better finds?" Do you mean coppas and more wilver? Less clad? More clad?

i agree with zoy and kirk, you shouldnt have a problem in the depth department. the DFX is one of the best of the best.

Yes the weather was incredible...even this year...we had one very cold month here..February with record colds...otherwise I was out....I did a lot of hunting in weather between 15 and 40 degrees....hoprfuly this will be a short winter for those of us that have a winter... 8)

By better finds... I am starting to think about different goals for next year.... Less coins..especially pennies....more silver... the rings I would be happy to match ... By quality finds...I would like to consistently have a few hits each time I go out in the 7 to 8 inch range.... (hopefully producing silver coins) I want to triple my silver finds next year...clad amount would like it to be in same area....but less coins and more nickels/dimes/quarters...See my question posted today in general forum..hopefully will get some good answers... If anyone has a deep program that works with the dfx...please sent me... Pag at 4 does not always seem to be the answer....today i could not use it..yesterday I could...yesterday was able to run ac sens at 76...today mainly only at 68...to avoid overloads...
