It does run in streaks don't it
Had some time on my hands Tuesday plus I had to pick up some stuff from my sis in the town I grew up in which is about an hour away. Decided to hit a few banks and see what I could find. The first four banks had less than $250 in halves, but I found silver in about every other roll. I go to the next bank and they had $220 that they had almost forgot about. The teller opened a few of the rolls and said " you may be in luck, it looks like there some silver ones in there". After looking through all of them there was only 1 40%, but I did get 2 good looking proofs and a UN PESO (whatever that is). Went to another bank and the teller said a guy just brought in $300 in halves. I suspected the had already been searched, so I only got $100. The first 5 rolls where bicentennials and the rest had clearly been searched. I moved on the a few more banks. I didn't get anymore halves, but I did get an Ike dollar and a silver Rosie from a teller that just wanted them out of here drawer. At the end of the day I got 28 40%, 2 proofs, a silver Rosie, an Ike, a UN PESO, and 4 with holes in them. I've started saving any "Holy Halves" that I find. I like to keep them a key ring. Not sure what I'm going to do with them.
Then I got to pick up my Wedsday box and got
SKUNKED . This afternoon I'm going to get another box. I hope I can get back on the streak!!!!
