Primary Interest:
Relic Hunting
They took the beans off one of my new sites today, so I decided to go check it out. The thing I spotted on top of the ground was the 1842 one penny back token, As I searched the location, I started to find several bells, not to bad I guess, I found the oval item an I thought it was another peace of lead. It says J, Ross or cross in fancy scrip letters, the word maker is on an angle and on the bottom, London. I thought I had found my first belt plate, but not this time but it is still neat. It is hard to read, I figure it was something to do with a horse as a decoration or on a trunk, but who knows for sure. HH

You did have a bell day.
That tall one is rather unusual. Nice find too.

I always like detecting a site that no one else has hunted. It really is a pleasure to relic hunt, no one around just the birds, my dog and fresh air.Nt.
