Title was a hint at what I found. Pic soon as tnet allows.....

After many months and steady average of halves per week I finally found my first walker. She is a beauty and she was all alone in the box no other keepers.

Haven't been on here in a little while but I did find it on Xmas eve so that made it a little more special.

Happy hunting and may your boxes be exciting this new year.

Congrats on your first Walker! That was a nice Xmas present. And if you can only get one keeper in a box that's a good one to get.

H$H!

Nice work Rusty! Walkers are a great find and a very good looking coin.

Great Job on the Walker! Love seeing those ladies, hopefully you will be able to post a pic once the site allows.

First Walker is always special. It took me about 4-5 months of searching to find my first. Then I found about 40 more in the last two years since that one. Congrats on the Lady!

Pic is up. Thanks for comments happy hunting!

Wow Rusty....that coin's a beauty....looks like its at least in XF+ condition and probably just came out of someone's collection.

Congrats on a great find!

I don't know why but the coin looks like it's been cleaned to me. Maybe it's just the lighting that makes it look like that, and what year is the coin? It's hard to tell.

Either way, congratulations. Walking Liberty halves don't pop up too often.

1945. I will put her under the magnified glass next time I take her out and look for whizzed effect.
