But in spite of the intense almost but not quite 80 degree day I pressed on and found a HUGE piece of silver! A ring that was enough to make your heart skip a beat, until I picked it up, 101 YEN, a 1978 Canadian Penny, about $2.00 in change and a ton of pull tabs (not pictured). All and all one of my better days

I'm in Des Moines, Near Saltwater park.
I love finding the foreign stuff. I seem to find lots of it. In the past month or so I've found Australian, English, Japanese, Philippine, and I think I find Canadian every where I look.

Thanks Dave But unfortunately I don't think the ring is silver only the earring back by my scale it is almost 0.01 gram But I guess any silver is good.
