Hi All,

A couple of buddies of mine in Central America found a possible ship wreck site today (or relics from a ship wreck). Besides some musket balls and what looks like Chinese porcelain, there is a mystery iron item. Can anyone identify it? I would really appreciate some feedback.

Thanks in advance!

More photos...
most importantly the round end... must see inside of it.
back and front... sides to show thickness.
I have to say ...
it looks familiar to me.

Thanks for the feedback, guys. Someone suggested that it might be an old andiron, but it looks too small to be one, no?
