Re: It's not officially summer

I know the feeling, same here on the Texas Gulf Coast....but...Gene Norman on ch11, houston, says we might get some much needed rain this coming week with temps in the mid 90s', sounds like a cold front coming thru, these 100 + temps really suck....HH

Re: It's not officially summer

I'm here in central TX. and it was 104 today in the shade and a 108 in the sun and it was a 140 in my car when I got off of work. :icon_sunny: :icon_sunny: :icon_sunny: :icon_sunny:
P.S. weatherman says that we have a chance next week for rain. :laughing7:

Re: It's not officially summer

I hope you guys get rain soon. So far we're doing well here, but you never know.

Re: It's not officially summer

I sincerely hope y'all get some rain real soon, but not a real gully washer at first. We went across the Texas Panhandle about three weeks back. Driest I ever seen it, winds, wildfires, evacuations, and not lookin good at all.

Trying to cut a plug with a hand digger is out of the question.....maybe a jack hammer?

Re: It's not officially summer

same here, the rain we do get just seems to leave the ground even harder when it dries.
