It's still out there

I know there are still fabulous pockets within miles of my house..

Nickel deposits too..hmmm

I can only image the stuff around here live on top of and have no idea.

Also cool that they are auctioning off specimens.

Its very very much out there still. Just gotta be willing to go get it. Even as a small time miner, you can find hot spots.

They're not walk in, start mining spots. You'll need to soak the ground with a good amount of sweat and blood before the ground will start giving up the booty.

We just had an assay come back hitting at 9.875 opt Au and 4.0 Ag off of a mixed sample.

Wow, now that's the way I want a find mine. To heck with one nugget at a time.:icon_thumright:

Something like that is probably what I'm going to hit up in Alaska next summer.

Ya gotta get out of your 'comfort zone' to get good gold! Its not goin to jump in yer pan for ya!

Wow!! Cool stuff!!

"I'm a billionaire and have gold hid all over the place, just have to go pick it up!" I have no clue who originally said it and I probably have the quote wrong. But I like to think of it that way!! :laughing7:

Seeing things like that makes me wonder as to the research they used to find it. The land down under is of course has great potential for discovery of such finds. Watching Prott videos of analysis of areas one would think they would be hot to trot down there.

it's not even a gold mine. It's a nickel mine they get gold as a byproduct.

They weren't technically "looking for it"

remember, gold fiends, the value is in the fines!Don't get crazy over nuggets!

That's what the 49'ers left for us, and there is a lot of it!
