Nice! That brings back a lot of memories. I had a novice license for a time but never pursued it. My dad was a ham for 50 yrs. W9OGQ. He recruited me to climb. His tower was 72’ and I was up there repairing co-ax in winter more than once. My best climb was attaching guy wires and mounting antenna for a 2-meter repeater. That one was 100’. I was young and fearless then. I can barely handle climbing on my roof now.
 

I studied for the exam. Was completely ready. Didn’t go to take it. I guess the learning was enough challenge at the time.

Same here, maybe for me it's just that I get chicken little for no reason on starting things
