I've got that sinking feeling...

Out on the road again, this time in Lancaster CA (near Edwards AFB)

I found this dried up lake, well, almost, it's still a respectable puddle.

Sinkers, sinkers and more sinkers.

Some shotgun shells, a couple of fishing lures, maybe a quarter and a few pennies.

It STILL beat a good day in the office!

Good on you for digging all the lead out of the place.

it's surprising that the weights are still made out of lead, shot gun pellets are now steel or titanium to lesson the impact on the environment.

Maybe the only benefit to the drought.
Still plenty of lead shot, non lead shot for shotguns are for waterfowl hunting. The ducks were eating the lead shot.
