Jacob & Co Bobcats Chronograph

I stopped by a new thrift store I just found out about and sitting on top of a jewelry display was this Jacob & Co NBA Charlotte Bobcats 5 time zone chronograph for $10. It is a complete NOS set with original straps stickers and warranty card. It is just missing the book. It appears to be a ladies quartz watch and likely never worn. I had not heard of this brand but found the quality of the watch exceptional. I then looked up pricing!!! $500-$900 range. Not sure how it will do with a defunct NBA name on it. They are now the Hornets. Still a great find! Of course I still have to verify it is real.

Wow !! Really makes me wonder what kind of people these stores have that are pricing collectibles like this.. I mean.. even discounting the brand power of Jacobs & Co. and NBA, just the watch bands and case alone are very high quality and worth far more than $10

FYI...I ended up selling it for $250 on eBay. Would have liked to get more but quick turnover is my strategy.
