59 Degrees here, got out for 2-1/2 hours today. Did manage to find 2 Wheats 1917 & 1934 along with a 1970-D nickel , a KASTMASTER Acme Tackle Co. lure, a #1 PENNSYLVANIA NATIONAL BANK Golf Ball, along with a few Watssits.? NOT A REAL GREAT DAY, but thats what I get , when I go to the MOST HUNTED OUT park in the area? :) considering this , I guess I'm satisfied. How often, can a SOUL in PA, get out detecting on NEW YEARS DAY ?? ;D only the second time I remember in approxametly 40 years.

hey that's great Jeff. I never got out on Jan. 1st in PA - this was a 1st for me.
Gotta love it!

Thought about wandering up my driveway, most of the 'original' snow has melted, but the feeling past while watching the fresh stuff coming down... I'll wait a bit...

Lo and behold! Found sterling ring w/weird cat's eye pink colored just a couple doors down. The old owner wouldn't let me hunt but he sold house-moved out yesterday and new owner said not to tear up lawn-also found lot of clad and mem's. Still lots of signals, going back tomorrow.

`I went out January 1st and found a 1892 indian head penny,a clay marble and a crockery city bottle (East Liverpool Ohio). ;D It was 45 degrees here in Ohio. I was nice to be out!!!
