Nice one Jeff! Sparked a memory-kind of feeling 10ft tall.
The lyrics of this great tune has been flashing through my mind for 55yrs.
The second line was my childhood as was my sister's-sad it's true.
Now in my mid 60's I look back on this amazing time of my life as a rabbit hole, but I don't let myself fall.
One pill makes you larger, and one pill makes you small
And the ones that mother gives you, don't do anything at all
Go ask Alice, when she's ten feet tall
And if you go chasing rabbits, and you know you're going to fall
Tell 'em a hookah-smoking caterpillar has given you the call
And call Alice, when she was just small
When the men on the chessboard get up and tell you where to go
And you've just had some kind of mushroom, and your mind is moving low
Go ask Alice, I think she'll know
When logic and proportion have fallen sloppy dead
And the white knight is talking backwards
And the red queen's off with her head
Remember what the dormouse said
Feed your head, feed your head
Wow Thats awesome! Jorma on guitar and Jack Cassidy on bass are an amazing pair. They have an acoustic duo called "Hot Tuna", it's more bluesy than The Airplane, but still cool and worth hearingJorma Used to stay at my house lol
my uncle was in the band The Tweedy Brothers back in thge 60s and was roomies with Jorma
I'm a big fan of most of their stuff, if you hadn't noticed.
I use to listen to "HOT TUNA" , different but GOOD about the mid-seventies(?)Wow Thats awesome! Jorma on guitar and Jack Cassidy on bass are an amazing pair. They have an acoustic duo called "Hot Tuna", it's more bluesy than The Airplane, but still cool and worth hearing
