Jesuit ring and religious medallion

I trade various items and recently trade some NA arrowheads for some finds from the Lviv oblast in Ukraine. I have family ties, they metal detect and located these items near a small castle/fortification in a farming field. The area was known in the 17th-18th century as a trading route. The ring cleaned up exceptionally well. I have attached a before pic. I have to clean up the medallion myself (any tips).

Unknown age on medallion but it was found in the same region. The items vary in age in that area.

I thought I would share. My cousin really found some excellent items over the years. I believe his finds from 2022 and onward will differ greatly, unfortunately.

Yes. My understanding is that many of the Jesuit rings and medallions were traded, not so much, from a religious meaning but from actual trade itself. Is that correct in some sense? I would bet it would be dependent upon the material.
