Hey Don, thanks for the really useful post.The obverse shows the "Chatel Tournois" (the Castle of Tours) design of the town of Tours; raising the probability the Jetton was made in the Tournai mint.

Cheers Crusader, been a while since you advised me to get that ring checked by a FLO , is been sent to the British museum for validation.I haven't got time for a full attribution but I can confirm its a nice early type from France. Better than the average Jetton. Congrats
No worries, good luck with the valuation. If you need further advise, let me know. I convinced them to consider changing the £1800-2000 Provincial Valuation to £3200.
