Going through an old jewelry box of mine today and came across two coins I had found in the distant past. The first I found when I was about 8 years old on the floorboard of an old abandon car in 1956. Being 8 years old I used my dads wire wheel to clean it up.
The second I found in a park at Carswell AFB in Fort Worth, Tx in 1971. It was the first coin I found with the "Magnaray" Metal detector I bought for $20. Tube type bfo that used a 47 1/2 volt battery. I thought I had found something old and rare but then I turned it over
Anyone have any idea what the first coin might be or how old it might be? It appears to be made of bronze and is about the size of a quarter
