At work, a friend said that he was selling his house. He said that his brother-in-law was suppose to come out and help him find the property markers, but that was weeks ago.

"I can do that," I said. "Let me hunt your yard?"
Okay he said. I find out later when I get there, the the old farm house, with barns, is now surrounded by houses. Seems this house was the only one around and the former owner sold off lots, and kept some acreage around him. The road was even named after the former owner.

The house is 100 years old. Found the markers, and had enough time to hunt for a half an hour or so before I had to get home.

So here are the pics of an interesting piece I found. VDI at 48 on DFX

Also found a shoe buckle and suspender buckle, three clad dimes.

Sweet old broach, nice find, congrats. There's some history in it, if it could only talk.

Smiles!
