Went out for about 1 1/2 hours before the sun set last night. Found this nice 1971 Kennedy half dollar plus a nice 1949 Wheat penny. Plus 5 clad quarters ( which bring my count to 190 clad quarters so far this year) also dug up 5 dimes 3 nickles and about 14 pennies.
So far its been my lucky year as I found a 1972 Ike dollar coin and now a nice JFK half dollar. The JFK half I found at a park that I have been hunting on and off for years. One never really thinks they cover the whole park in just a few hunts. The JFK was buried about 4 or 5 inches in the ground.
