Jona are you sure it wasn't a shark instead of a whale or maybe a groundhog?

I have been crazy busy buying some land and working and trying to get my house on the market so I haven't been hunting for awhile. Finally made it out. I had gotten a pirate detector a while back and wanted to give water hunting a try. So I finally made it to the beach. Considering that it was the first time out with the detector and really water hunting I think I did alright. I really did not expect to find much except trash with the detector so I am pleasantly surprised with how well the detector did. It does make a lot of noise in general when in the water and the earcups aren't real comfortable but for the price I can't complain much. It does find stuff. The cross is gold plated and says Italy on the back.

Hope that house sells quickly.

Nice take for the first time out. I found if you wrap the cable around the shaft, or use some velcro strips, the machines make less noise/chatter. They pick up their ouw metal cable. Just a thought. HH Gayle

Gayle that makes sense I will have to give it a try.
