✅ SOLVED Jug Stopper?

I found this piece about 10 inches deep at an old farm house in Western Missouri. It is iron on top of Glass. The Glass is beveled like it would fit in a jar or a jub. While digging this item I also found a large piece of pottery. It appears there is a Large letter "C" underneath the glass.

I have included the video of me digging this item so you can see the pottery and also the depth of the item.
