Jul. 27 & 28 wrap up THIRD GOLD OF THE YEAR!!!

Hi everyone!! Finally got out this weekend. First time out in almost a month!! Here's the wrap up/good stuff.

Saturday- SCRATCHFEST!!! Long grass, hard ground, and deep iron made pinpointing at one location VERY difficult. As a result of this, I ended up scratching all 3 of my silvers (including a beautiful '18 merc with full bands), as well as 7 of the 11 wheats I dug .

Totals: 3 silvers ('18, 18d mercs, '46 Roosie), 11 wheats (teens-'50s; not pictured; includes a '09 plain), Panama 25 Centesimos coin, Zippo lighter (might send this one in). Clad totaled $6.27.

Sunday- A much better day!! Got my 3rd gold of the year!!!

Totals: '62d Roosie, 3 wheats ('18, '37, '49d; not pictured), 14k mower dinged earring (3rd gold of 2013!!), sterling ring, unmarked ring (probably a junker; rang up like a clad dime). Clad totaled an astounding $16.47 ( quarters alone were $12; not a one day record, but pretty close; includes a George Washington Presidential $1 coin).
