If it's of a particular group (for example: Sixth Company, Sixth Battalion, etc,) there may exist a Reunion group of next of kin who would be interested. An archival search of the Atlanta newspapers of that day and (say) for the week previous and next--would probably ID the group.
Don.......
PS: I just read 'Savannah, Ga.' on one of the pics. Can you type out whatever you an read of that script title?

Yes on I believe on the picture it says :

6th Co. 1st group M. Y. T. L. , July 26, 1918.
Camp Hancock Augusta, Ga
Davis Film Services
F. Edgar Davis
Savannah Ga.
#20

Some of the letters are hard to figure out but I think that's what it says

Fort Gordon is just outside Augusta Ga Fort Stewart is just outside Savannah Ga ---- On many of those group pictures there was a numbering system assigning each person in the picture a SPOT number I have no idea on how this one was set up

Camp Hancock http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Camp_Hancock_(Georgia)

Sometimes on E BAY you will see similar pictures with numbers inked over each person

Yours looks in Great shape --- Most I have seen are cracked or broken because of the size

I've seen panoramic company pics of the same era retail for $100-$200 at local antique shops

Someone donated a same type to our American Legion post. Takes a lot of wall space to find a good place to hang it.
