july 4th fireworks

We had an hour or so to kill yesterday after the parade and before an anniversary party so we stopped by a park on the way. What a stop! We only covered about 6 feet from the curb and came up with 47 pennies, 3 quarters and the half dollar. The highlight had to be a 2 foot square area where we dug up 30 pennies! This was also our first half dollar which was great too.
It was a great day.

wow! nice haul! I have a park by in my town that I go to and it ls like every other hit is a coin spill. I found my first half the same way, in a coin spill. Still looking for my second . Good luck with parks,their great for coins and other things
