here are the spanish silver coins i found so far this summer. 1780 1-reale and 1787-2 reale (dark) toned. i think due to animal urine in the area i found it near the farm pasture see pic. this spot gave up a large cent as well as a few indians. and lots of lead.

Yeah fantastic coins. How deep where they?

I don't think urine would do that to the coins. hahaha How deep were they? Good signals?

hard to rember think 5-8 inches ( and yes old pastures fertlizer etc etc, will darken up old coins ive seen it before.( whites 6000 di pro plus.)

It is nice to see that another dude uses the same machine as me. That machine is the most underrated, bud. Do you have any detecting buddies?

yes a good friend we being at this together about 12-years. my other back up machine is the old minelab and the fisher1266x thank for your intrest. happy hunting.
 
What kind of sites are you hitting? Orchards? Colonial homesteads?

We have been hitting a field that has produced 5 Colonials...there must have been a homestead there before. We also have a tavern to hit this fall.

Definitely finds to be proud of! Half Reales and 1 Reales are difficult to find, but finding a 2 Reale is quite a feat! WTG!

this was a front and side yards of a FARM HOUSE that dates 1774,
