Just a couple trees

We have a field by our house we dont suspect there is any flint there....but just like to get out and walk it when we dont have time to go anywhere else. There is a small ditch/creek that runs through it. I just thought these trees were cool. The one...you can see it all in the pic....but it is 5 big trees that all have a common base....not too unusual...just like it. The other is a big root system hangin out in the creek.

I guess the tree was cut years ago, then sprouted several more.

I can see the perfect pocket set for a mink in those roots! Old trapper here.
