The photo says cache. Did you find them together? If so that had to be exciting, just finding a single point can be rewarding I would love to find a bunch together., nice stuff.

Thanks Unitas,
Yes they were all found in one small area of a tobbaco field, with the exception of one ,they seem to be made of same material. There were several other Adena blades that were stolen in the 80,s.I found these when I was fourteen,my first year huntjng them.I,ve only had a couple other days like that one in the last thirty-four yrs.

Cool finds. Are they covered in oil or something?
No,I,m not sure what your seeing, may be the cheap web cam or glare from the light.Other than the dirt washed off they are as found.

Killer finds Jeff.

I have only found one Cache in my 43 years of hunting and it was all surface collected since the landowner wouldn't let me dig for the rest of it. I have 13 blades, a buddy of mine has 10 and another buddy has 8 or 9 for 31 or 32 total we found on the surface. They were all found within the same 10 foot area over the years and are all just about identical in size, though two different types of black flint. Some of them are made from Zaleski Flint and some are made from Kanawha Black Flint.

Here are the ones I have.
