Just back from the mountain

Just returned from another trip to my Adirondack mountain in upstate N.Y. where metal detecting I found another old horse shoe, a very old axe head, another farm/logging chain?, 2 Western SuperX NO 12 shotgun shell heads circa early-mid 1900s, an old buckle, and an old pick axe head. Also detected along the shore of the nearby Great Sacandaga Reservoir to find a 1943P silver war nickel, some assorted clad, a vintage Syscoware fork, and a surface find of some keys, a lighter, and 2 $1.00 bills.

no bears or timber rattlers? old iron sells. too bad the NYC water cops lock up treasure hunters at the Ashokan res., you got lucky hitting the Sacandaga with no DEP or DEC wantin' to cuff you up
